How to answer all of those "twin" questions people ask and more!
If you are a parent of twins, you understand the importance of keeping track! January 5, 2010 J. Aurrichio (BRONX, NY, US) As a parent of twins, I found the book EXTREMELY helpful, as I filled in the times each baby had a bottle, had a wet diaper, etc. There are PLENTY of sheets/books for SINGLE babies, but what if you have twins? And it was an added bonus to have the other fillable sections. My twins are now 17 months and I carried this book around with me from morning through night, even THROUGH the night! And I kept it and compare the feedings/weights with my new baby (3 months old)... INVALUABLE!
Functional, but looks cheap June 25, 2010 Anna (Santa Rosa, CA) I ordered this as a gift for a friend who is expecting twins, and I was almost embarrassed to give it to her! It looks like a home print job, not professional at all. I did end up giving it to her, and she said it will be helpful. Personally, I used the "Eat Sleep Poop journal" (also on Amazon) and I loved it. I'd hoped this would be the equivalent, just for twins. I would not order this again -- I would definitely look for something a bit more professional.
This is NOT a keepsake journal for twins September 27, 2009 Marilyn Madison (Arlington, VA, USA) Beware! If you purchase this book looking for a typical baby keepsake journal for twins, you will be disappointed. Of the 87 pages in the book, only 7 pages actually contained space for recording milestones, such as baby's first step, and records of doctor visits and immunizations. Sixty pages contained identical daily charts for recording each feeding, nap, breast pumping and diaper change, complete with a section to note record if the diaper contained pee and/or poop. Obviously, this isn't something that you want to fondly look back on in your baby's keepsake journal. The rest of the book contained nothing but filler -- average growth charts, facts about twins, such as "identical twins result when a single egg splits," a poem written by the author about her twin boys, and sarcastic answers to questions about twins. Most of this relatively useless information was copied directly other books and websites. I purchased this book as a gift for first-time parents who are expecting twins, and I'm so glad I had it shipped to myself rather than directly to them, because I would have been embarrassed to give this as a gift. To be fair, if all you want are two months' worth of charts to record every feeding and diaper change, this is the book for you. But if you are looking for a real "Twins Journal," look elsewhere.
