Customer Reviews: DisappointingAugust 13, 2010 Aresee 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book was simply a disappointment to me. If you read it I think you'll feel the same way. The writer appears to feel that a pre-teen is anyone from age 1 to age 12. Rather than my giving you the details, let the author speak for himself.
Chapter 2 "goin' potty" "Potty training marks the end of diapers and the beginning of underpants"
Page 38 "You can eliminate most bathroom accidents by using non-slip rugs, taking the lock off the bathroom door and replacing it with a eye hook and elastic band...and using a thermometer when preparing a child's bath."
Page 51 (Question) "I can't get my four-year-old to sit still when I'm trying to read to him."
Chapter 18 "Nursery Crimes"
You get the idea. It is a general child-rearing book that has been re-titled to sell as something else. Save your money.
